Hotels in Racimo, Los Angeles

"They advertise a restaurant on site with bar but its not open. When we checked in they gave us a breakfast menu with various different made to order breakfasts. But then sat. morning we walk in and the lady says its a buffet breakfast, i ask if i pay her and she says later. It was scrambled eggs, sausage, you know the usual but then there was some other stuff. I asked my wife what it was and she said some kind of asian soup. It all tasted bland. The " orange juice" was tang. Then we get done and the lady runs up and tells us its $15 each, which was odd since the prices on the menu we got the highest plate was $15.95 for made to order. I then asked if the restaurant and bar would be open for dinner as we would be back that evening and she told us no that it was closed permanently. My question is why do they advertise it if its not open? Very disappointed. "

"Front desk was not very friendly. Simple plain room. Nothing special. 2 Star hotel at 4 Star price. No breakfast & there was no coffee made in the lobby. The coffee pot was empty at 8am! Not worth the $$$"

"It was under construction (a surprise) ,and the power was out until 7pm. After we checked in, the key didn't work, so we got another one. Then, the toilet was not connected in the tank , so we had to have it fixed. It was reconnected only to stop working again. It needed a new flapper, so it never fully worked. Lastly, the noise from the top floor kept us awake throughout the night. "

"Love this hotel! Besides elevator going to the 600 rooms. The one on the right doesn't feel stable on the floor boards but everything else is amazing!! Breakfast is always the best!! Love this hotel! So close to everything as well!"

"Rooms are to old , dirty smelly , No hot water in rooms they have to move me to another room that has thesame problem , bad experience and price was also to high for an old hotel "

"Breakfast was satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the shower handle fell off when I tried to turn it on, and the bathtub appeared to be old."

"There was so many things wrong with this place. The TV was broken we called the office and they came and saw it and said not to worry but didn't give us another room we didn't say nothing because we weren't going to watch TV we were just staying there because we had a flight at 6am. The sheets were smelly and stained we did not sleep at all we layed on top of the covers but even the pillowcase smelled it was awful. No tissue paper in the box, the bathroom floor was sticky. I knew this was an economy motel but never expected that. Let more tired than if I slept in my car or at the airport. "
