« Check in was a little hectic something happened with our reservation. Front desk was awesome. Very busy. Amenities were not listed anywhere since check in was hectic we were anxious to let the people behind us check in. Not sure where anything was. Was very excited about the roof top but that was a bust. The help up there was not friendly at all. They were out of things she was happier not making a sale then suggesting something else. « So despite its name, this is not a hotel. It is definitely a motel and that is how it should be filtered on Expedia. Parking was annoying- Expedia description states that there is a parking garage with which the motel has a relationship and this was not available on our visit so we had to find parking in a busy area. Also, a freight train line runs behind this property which is quite loud. There is also a bar nearby that is quite loud at night. On the plus side, the staff was friendly. ...

« This location is right in the heart of the University of Virginia grounds so it was very easy for us to drive to John Paul Jones arena for the basketball game and to Klockner Stadium for the lacrosse game. It is on a cu-de-sac with other houses. It is very close to restaurants, the Corner, and the downtown mall.
