The gym facilities were poorly maintained and some of the equipment were inoperable. I did enjoy the hospitality and comfort of the resort. A water fountain or water bottle filling station would have made the trip just that more enjoyable. Having a fancy coffee machine or barista to serve specialty coffee would have been a good change to the regular coffee served throughout the day.

NO RECOMIENDO ESTE HOTEL! Los días que estuvimos instalados, no tuvimos agua caliente y el personal de mantenimiento nos indico que efectivamente no funcionaba el equipo del agua caliente, pero que los gerentes y el personal de recepción no daba la cara y los mandaba a ellos a "solucionar el problema;" Las instalaciones son viejas; pagas una tarifa "all inclusive" y los restaurantes cierran a las antes de las 11:00pm y no tienes opciones de comida así como tampoco de room service. El personal de recepción da información equivocada, pedimos late check out intentando compensar el tema del agua caliente, y nos permitieron el late check out hasta las 2.00pm, preguntamos si podíamos seguir haciendo uso de las instalaciones y nos comentaron que si y nos dieron un "pase" (instalaciones que íbamos a usar solo 3 horas mas por que teníamos nuestro vuelo de salida), con dicho pase intentamos pedir UNA bebida y nos trataron fatal, como si fuéramos unos abusivos o como si los estuviéramos robando, diciéndonos el personal de los bares y restaurantes, que ese pase que nos dieron no sabían de que era y que si no teníamos para pagar nos fuéramos a otro lugar. Super de mal gusto su actitud haciéndonos sentir como unos ladrones o como si fuéramos a abusar del consumo. Consumo que ni siquiera se desquita en el dicho "all inclusive" por que no tienen ni los restaurantes suficientes ni los horarios 24/7 para poder comer. La mayoría del tiempo tuvimos que pedir comida por Uber eats.

Me sorprendio la cantidad de personal trabajando, super activo en las areas de comida. El checking si se demoro muchisimo, solo un persona atendiendo y era finde largo. muchisima demora. We reserved and paid for a King Size bed in our room they put us in a room with a full size bed. The safe was broken and the walls were so thin we could hear everything the people next door were saying. They moved us to another room with a King size bed. The front desk refused to give me the key to the new room,, they said the bellhop had to move us and he would bring the key. He came and moved us but did not have a key. The maid had to let us in. The Bellhop said he would be right back with the key, after an hour wait we went back to the front desk to finally get our key. All of this took 1.5 hours. This property is very dated and not in good repair. We overloom abandoned buildings on their property, trees that fell over and have been there for a long time. I would not recommend this property. The saving grace is the staff is very friendly.

You get what you pay for. The food wasn’t great, the room didn’t have any hooks to hang towels or bathing suits but the staff were attentive and lovely. The weather was perfect and the beach was beautiful.

My biggest problem with this resort was upon checking in, you get two complementary bottles of water in your room and that’s it. There were three of us staying in the room and if we wanted more water, we had to pay 25 pesos per bottle. We drink a lot of water and have never been limited in other resorts. Our beds were really comfortable and our room was a good size and had a balcony which was nice. The food was ok. If you’re craving for guac and salsa you won’t find any here. The à la cart restaurants were not great. The staff are good but there are no servers on the beach if that’s what you’re looking for. The pools are decent and the beach is nice. The grounds of the resort are nice as well. Lots of raccoons which were neat to see. If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive no bells or whistles all inclusive place to stay, this would do the trick.

This is an old outdated resort but apparently will be getting some upgrades in a few months. The food is bad and over salted. We paid for an ocean view but it was limited so our view was a building in front of the ocean which I believe is the timeshare on the property. It’s very hard to get a lounge chair or any seating at the pool unless you are there when it opens at 8 and there was a film of slime and dead flies floating in areas of the pool. The liquor is not top shelf and the wine yuk. It’s a bit of a walk from the room to the pool and ocean. The bathroom was actually pretty good once we got the toilet fixed.

Don’t waste your money on this place! Unbelievable how many times the staff will tell you it will working tomorrow, 3 days later still no AC in our room, 85 degrees! No compensation for it, non whatsoever. How this resort got rated 4 stars is a lie!

This place is NOT a 4star resort not even close to 2! AC not working, shower drain is clogged! Food at buffet always the same, Japanese restaurant that serves wonton, Italian restaurant that serves linguine instead of fettuccine, I can go on and on! Don’t waste your money on this resort

AC in the room did not work until day 7 of our seven day stay, Breakfast was good, we stuck to omelettes and yogurt, we passed dinners at the hotel as the selection was limited, and the taste was bland. We opted to go out to the zona romantica for dinners.

Workers were amazing and friendly. The air conditioning was not working in our building the whole time we were there. The food got tiring after a week. They did not have big changes in the menu. I would rate it a 3.

Incredible views from our room. Friendly staff. Bathrooms by the pool were Gross! Property needs some repair. Restaurants were just ok. However for the price it was a great deal!

The hotel is in desperate need of an update, but the staff were helpful and the rooms clean. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Definitivamente uno de los peores hoteles, no son accesibles, uno paga todo incluido y no incluye casi nada la habitación tiene refri y se encuentra vacía dan solo 2 botellas de agua para la estadía, personal es pesado y maleducado, la propia recepcionista una señora que está en la tarde me dijo que el hotel era malo que no era como el de Cancún, check in temprano, habitaciones lejos de la playa, viejas y pequeñas, definitivamente no reserven en este hotel evítense el mal rato yo pague $530 por 2 noches pero siento que ha sido de las peores inversiones y esto que yo si viajo seguido

The location is good but there aren’t any other good things to say about it. The woman at check in was rude and annoyed to be having to help us. We left without any information about the resort. Service at pool bar was very slow. There were never enough pool or beach chairs. Food options are very limited and mostly buffet style which means you will be eating a lot of cold food. By the second day we got food poisoning. Stuck in our room there was a domestic disturbance in the hall where a woman was being hit pretty badly. I tried to have the front desk send someone up to check on her and they hung up on us 5 TIMES! The hotel is old and run down. Will not stay here again. I hear the fiesta Americana next door is super lovely and will be staying there next time.

The property was beautifully kept. Staff were friendly. It would be nice, considering its an all inclusive, to have the mino fridge stocked in the room. Especially with more bottled water. Also, room service was slim to none.

This property doesn’t get the love that it should traveled with my husband and in laws and we had an absolute great time. The area staff property food g the grounds 10/10 direct access to the beach 3 pools absolutely wonderful. Affordable and couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Overall Krystal Vallarta is a great vacation place. The food is typical resort food, everyone can find something to eat. The service was very good. Jaime and Victor at concierge were extremely helpful, Ramone made excellent drinks. Manuel, and Carlos stood out as great servers, and Alberto, the manager at the palapa went out of his way to be helpful. There were plenty of bathroom and bar areas to service everyone and the pools were beautiful overlooking the beach. Like most resorts they could definitely put in way more lounge chairs by the pool at the palapa. The location is also very convenient; a short ride from the airport, a bus stop right by the resort and a shopping center for money exchange and conveniences right beside it. My only disappointment was that on our last day we had to forfeit our inclusive wrist bands by noon but we didn’t fly until 5:30 so we were just cut off for the day. It was inconsistent with what had happened with another couple two days prior who were able to retain their wrist bands for the day with no charge.

Great staff. Very attentive. All inclusive is great value. Drinks non stop if that’s what you’re after. Food is nice but very basic and lukewarm most times. Room was very nice but walls paper thin. Kept awake all night by tv next door. If you’re ok with no sleep then rest of the place is great. Pools a bit hard to get a chair if you’re not early up

Mal servicio no te dan por lo que pagaste te mienten te dan solo una cena en un restaurante y eso que es todo incluido nos dieron un cuarto con camas separadas pagamos por un cuarto con 1 cama king saise lo cual no fue así la comida todos los días lo mismo nada de variedad música orrible nada de ambiente en fin todo orrible no pienso recomendarlo a nadie mucho menos yo regresar
