Welcome to Portland's Reedwood neighborhood. A true mid-century modern enclave as unique as the city itself! Raymond Rental is a completely remodeled apartment in one of Portland’s celebrated neighborhoods, and is walking distance to Reed College.

Modern, bright and airy lower-level unit with a large, open living, dining and kitchen area and all the amenities you need to live, work and explore Portland. Make your meals in the full size kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, olive oil and other condiments. Two bedrooms accommodate 2 to 4 people. The first bedroom has a queen bed with comfortable mattresses and linens, and French doors that lead out to the patio. The second bedroom has a full bed. The bathroom is recently renovated and has a walk-in shower.

This quiet SE Portland neighborhood is blocks away from Reed College's canyon with nature trails, close to the Eastmoreland Golf Course, and the renowned Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. Stroll to the Woodstock Farmers Market on Sundays. Walk to Gigantic Brewery for a casual beer and food carts. Close to Sellwood and Westmoreland. Easy 15 minute ride to downtown.

My favorite thing about this property is a toss-up between the wonderful hosts and the incredible garden. The hosts responded to our every special request, going above and beyond to bring me an extra reading light for my impaired vision. The neighborhood is peaceful, and I spent every early morning sunning in the lovely garden with a book. Convenient location.

Comfortable pleasant experience

The kitchen area was excellent for our breakfasts and the two bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The owners were very willing to be helpful and ensured our pleasant stay. The location was convenient to many of our venues in the Portland area.

This is a fabulous retreat close to Reed College

We chose the location because we were moving our Reed student out of his apartment for the year and this was beyond our expectations. It was represented perfectly on line and actually it is better than described. It is well lit, decorated beautifully, and there is lots of space. The two bedrooms are great - with comfortable beds, great linens, and enough space to move around. The bathroom is really nice with more than I would ever expect from a VRBO with different types of shampoos and soaps, other toiletries in case you forgot something and great hair dryer. The kitchen is WELL STOCKED and if you are able to find something that is missing (we didn't), then all you do is ask Barbara. And the living area is comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood is literally a 10 minute walk to campus and is great for taking a walk or run to relax. There is plenty of parking. Honestly I cannot think of one thing I would change.

The property was wonderful for my visiting instructor. Close to a lot of different things within the southeast neighborhood. Communication was excellent by the owner. Definitely put this on your list of places to stay when you’re in Portland.

Second Stay - Even Better

This was our second time staying at this property and we'll keep coming back whenever we're in Portland. Super convenient and close to Reed College, as well as many of our favorite restaurants. TJs is within walking distance and the kitchen is stocked to make real cooking easy. Perfect!

Nice location and perfect apartment

My daughter and I really loved the apartment- she even said it felt like we were living together again ❤️. We had plenty of room and everything we needed in the kitchen. The apartment is located in a good neighborhood with a Trader Joe's within walking distance and a couple of places to eat (the Thai place close by was excellent). Uber rides downtown were typically $12 and arrived within 5 mins.

Will always stay here visiting Portland

This experience at this property was first rate. The hosts were excellent, very communicative and all the materials and pictures surrounding the listing were accurate. The place is a two bedroom unit in the basement of a house the owners reside in and is impeccable. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Very convenient to downtown Portland and plenty of Grocery stores around as well. The community was really nice and walkable. If you are coming to Portland consider this place.

Perfect Spot Near Reed College

This was the perfect location to serve as home base while we moved our oldest into the dorms. Clean, well stocked with kitchen basics, comfotable and quiet. We'll be back for another visit later this year and wont stay anywhere else.
