For some reason I thought it was a one bedroom small loft style place bc that's what most lofts are like but this place is humongous! First floor was quaint with 2 bedrooms entryway and a bathroom with washer dryer closet, upstairs ohhhh the upstairs!!!! Super huge loft with fully equipped kitchen breakfast bar seating area dining room table a half bath a wood pellet stove with a lovely patiio with great views. I was blown away. The beds were comfy, the whole place was clean with a rustic feel. The host would always respond in minutes I had a mix up with my next booking he helped me extend another night and I was late leaving but he was very understanding. I was so sad to leave it just felt like home. The location was absolutely perfect central to everything. Couldn't be happier with my stay. Make sure you reserve the parking space in advance if you are using a car as the neighborhood isn't easy for parking. This floorplan supported a good balance of privacy and sociability.We enjoyed being only a 15-20 minute walk from the town center, allowing us to easily choose between dining out, getting take-out. The deck had a fantastic view. The skylights upstairs were beautiful and you could watch the seagulls fly by while watching a movie in the living room. This is definitely a typical Maine historic apartment. If you are up for beautiful historic features and adventure, this is the place for you. Nice walk to restaurants and shopping. I would warn you, if you have a disability or a bit older, it may be a bit harder for you to get around this property and walk to downtown.
