I rent a place in port Austin every year for the weekend that Halloween camping takes place at nearby Port Crescent State park. My extended family camps, I enjoy the day and fires with them and then go sleep in a warm, comfortable bed 😊. The cottage was clean, plenty of small amenities provided (I don’t want to bring my own bedding towels etc and all those are provided!) My 5 month old grandson came with is for the first time and there was plenty of room for his portacrib and allll the baby stuff. A very short drive to the camping area. I selected this place due to the nice comments shared by other guests. I was not disappointed! This place was perfectly located to the lake, putt-putt was within walking distance, with homemade ice cream, and a dark skies observation location was literally across the road. Our Vrbo hosts thought of all the details and we felt like we were at home. One of our favorite moments was teaching our college age daughter how to play Euchre like a true Michigander.
