"Is this really a 4\* hotel? Our room was really run down, the furniture was dated and badly worn. Pretty dreadful. The redeeming features being location and indoor pool. We didn't have breakfast as at £25 a night that is a absolute rip off. Instead we ate at a beach side cafe for less than 10€."

"It was great to have some groceries on arrival - always appreciated. The apartment is spacious with fabulous views. It’s probably unusual for people to visit in January, but the apartment was really cold. It doesn’t get daytime sunshine so by evening it was really chilly. The living room/dining room is open plan so the (noisy) a/c heater wasn’t able to cope. This will not be a problem in the Summer months, but outside of those, you need a duvet and lots of extra heaters. Other than that, the apartment is very well stocked and within walking distance to the port and its many restaurants & bars. In warm weather, there are 2 spacious terraces to enjoy the view."

"We originally booked the Bahia hotel as we've stayed there before & enjoyed it! However, it was closed & we were offered a stay at Dos Playas. Our room was modern, clean ,lovely hot water, large balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were polite, respectful & helpful. There were 3 full touring buses so the hotel was a little noisier than expected."
