"The Hideaway was in a great location away from the rest of the island. They did a great job with the landscaping and the farm was well kept. Our two bedroom cottage was great - clean and quiet. We highly recommend this place if you want to be away from the busyness of the island. "

"This property was a nice safe place for family of 4. It was in a more residential neighborhood. A car is a must if you are going to stay here as it's a ways from beaches and night life. There is one bar/restaurant that is walkable and was great for breakfast and drinks. It does include washer and dryer but no laundry detergent and minimal toiletries/towels. Some touches such as laundry detergent, beach chairs that you could take to beaches, and some toiletries would make it 5 stars. "

"We anxiously awaited our stay at Point Pleasant, and it was everything we had hoped.
The views were amazing, our villa was cozy.
The staff was attentive and helpful.
We ate several meals at Sun & Sea Bar and Grill and it was always delicious.
There are several great beaches only a short drive away.

"Stunning property!This house feels like a resort. The amenities and finishes are really well thought out.The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms are very private. Each room has an ensuite, and virtually no noise is transmitted to the bedrooms.There is plenty of hang out space. The two movie areas accomodated our entire crew. The only disappointment was that the recliners in the lower level are all broken or not functioning. The grotto in the lower level must have been gorgeous when the waterfall was working!The kitchen is very well appointed. Loads of dishware and cutlery. We did have to purchase ice, as the ice maker in the fridge was not working, and the ice maker in the coffee bar didnt make quite enough for the frozen drink demands! I would however encourage the owners to take a good look at the cookware. There is a very generous amount of pots and pans, but most of them all scratched and unuseable. We found two stainless steel pans that we used exclusively. I know most people dont care about cooking on vacation, but we love to hang out in the kitchen together!I would also strongly suggest that the hosts upgrade to USB charging stations in the kitchen and bedrooms. Everyone has phones, tablets and devices that need USB outlets.The two sets of laundry appliances are a huge bonus. We spent most of the time in the pool! It is very well maintained, and there is a covered area by the guest house that gave us a break from the sun when we needed it. "

The space is incredibly roomy, with two full bathrooms, a separate bedroom, and two large TVs—one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The dining area is also spacious, and we enjoyed our meals while taking in the stunning beach view—it was truly beautiful.
There are several convenient restaurants nearby, along with a beach bar and a coffee shop. The taxi stand next to the coffee shop was especially helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay and are already hoping to return in the future!"

"We had such an amazing time! This cozy little condo was perfect for our needs. Great location, nice property. Our host, Chris was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Giving suggestions and recommendations. We had a couple of hiccups that were attended to very quickly. I hate that we didn’t get to use the pool when that was the reason I wanted this home. Nature (leaves and bugs) just wanted the pool also lol. There was a net to clean it but with the wind, it kept being too much. But, such a great host! We will definitely be back!!"

Watch out for seaweed around this time of the year. All of the seaweed comes from the east which is where this beach is located.
