"We stayed in the family room, which was large with four rock hard beds. The pool is very nice and the location is just a short 400m walk to the village."

"Second visit, but not as good as the first. Staff remain fabulous ( perhaps the odd grumpy face at breakfast) but the majority just can’t do enough for you. The pool area had the most awful music (quite loud bass beat) bashing out for the first 3 days, which ruined it for us. The average age of the hotel guests is probably 60-80 years, so many people were not happy. Pool side very busy towards the end of the week, unlike last time, but apparently there is a music festival on this weekend ( Oct 3rd) so try to miss these dates if you want peace and quiet. The location is perfect if you want to wander down to the town or out to the restaurants. Very clean. No hot drinks in the room, which I missed in the mornings. We may revisit, but not for a few years."

"The house is very comfortable to stay in for our 4 nights and is a perfect location in Carvoeiro: Very close to town but quiet with parking right in the front courtyard in a residential area. Host Maria is super cute; she has the gate open ready for us on check-in day and could hear and meet with us since she lives behind the rental. I would definitely stay here again in Carvoeiro, easily drive to the West or East Algarve coast and Uber is fast when we call to do the Seven Valleys trail since we are very very close to town center."

"Jane was a superb host. She maintained excellent communication before and during the trip, answering all queries promptly and providing helpful suggestions. It was clear that she was a passionate and caring host. The house itself was in an excellent location. It was within walking distance of the beach, cafes, restaurants, pool and walking paths. The home was in a very safe area and we felt comfortable walking around even at night. The house was well maintained and equipped with everything needed to function during the day including a dishwasher, washing machine, umbrellas and beach towels. The grounds of the home were also well maintained and it was a pleasure sitting outside on the patio. Overall an excellent experience."

"Check in/out was extremely efficient. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath apartment that looked newly renovated. Well equipped for sll our needs. Lovely pool just steps away. Several excellent restaurants within walking distance. We were in unit 900 and the only negative was the street noise."

"The rooms were clean when we arrived but the kitchen had oils or left over residue on the handles so felt a bit gross opening and closing them. The tables were definitely were not wiped and some of the furnishing had been water stained but that's from other guest usage. Bed comfy enough tho. Bath looked a bit gross. Don't know if it's residue staining or mould or just dirty."
