"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality. "

"This well appointed apartment makes the absolute most of the stunning views overlooking Coombesgate Beach and beyond. We love the downstairs wet room ideal for wetsuits and sandy feet! The cloakroom area means all coats and shoes are out of the way and not cluttering the apartment and the kitchen space is well designed including two fridges. We love staying here and this is our 5th visit with 3 more weeks planned so far this year so yes we would definitely recommend for comfort, location and amazing views! As always thank you to Maddy and Sarah at Holiday Home Hunter for their excellent service, it’s a pleasure to book with them!"

"We stayed at the beginning of December when Woolacoombe was very quiet. This was perfect for us but only a few shops open, a lovely coffee shop and The Jude which had amazing food. The Penthouse had a beautiful view looking out to Lundy Island. The accommodation was very comfortable, it had underfloor heating so it was very warm even when it was blowing a gale. It was very clean and had everything we needed.We enjoyed walking down to the beach and the costal walks with our dog.Highly recommended."
