Entering the property through a private nature surrounded road to reach a beautiful two-storey house standing proud at the top of a cliff. The house is positioned in the middle of a rich vineyard plantation (which if visited during the summer months will most likely be carrying a variety of juicy fresh grapes). Once you reach the houses private parking you will notice the amazing views and a glimpse of the Pissouri beach few miles away. The house is situated in a very private area yet very near local "hot spots". Pissouri beach with all that comes with it (local restaurants, bars, water-sports etc) is within walking distance (under 2 miles) and so is Pissouri village centre. Buses to major towns Paphos and Limassol are available and can take you there within 30 minutes. If you are a nature lover, star gazer, cyclist, a group of friends looking for some summer Cypriot fun or even a family looking for a relaxing get-away this is the property for you. All parts of the house and the land it is in are open for access by guests. (just mind the cliff if you are going for a wander) If something isn't quite right, feel free to give me a call or drop me an email. The area around the property is a very relaxing natural environment with lots of hiking and exploration opportunities which is always enjoyable in the sunny Cypriot climate. Pissouri is well known for its challenging cycling routes. They involve a variety of cycling difficulties from flat long "airplane runways" to varying inclination roads. Was für eine Enttäuschung! Es ist zwar schwer auf Zypern enttäuscht zu werden, aber wir haben leider das schwarze Schaf getroffen! Allen, die sich gerne mal für blöd verkaufen lassen wollen, sei dieses Haus empfohlen: "Exzellent", dass nur eine von vier Jalousien funktioniert, da hat man es schön warm drinnen. So warm, dass die auf 25°C fest eingestellten Klimaanlagen kaum zur Kühlung beitragen können. Das meinte der Gastgeber dazu: Wer nach Zypern kommt, will die Hitze, da braucht es keine Jalousien (seltsam nur, dass im ganzen Mittelmeerraum Jalousien die Hitze draußen halten). "Hervorragend" auch, dass immerhin an einem von vier Betten eine Nachttischlampe vorhanden ist. Das meinte der Gastgeber dazu: Eigentlich ist gar keine Nachttischlampe vorgesehen, die eine hat er großzügig auf Wunsch eines seiner so zufriedenen Gäste bereitgestellt. "Genial" auch, dass die beiden Sonnenschirme fest einbetoniert sind, so dass ihr Schatten zu manchen Tageszeiten nicht zu nutzen ist, weil er auf die obere und untere Terrasse gleichzeitig fällt. Das meint der Gastgeber dazu: Aus Sicherheitsgründen gibt es keine mobilen Sonnenschirme (wohl ziemlich verantwortungslose Typen, die mobile Sonnenschirme verkaufen). Und das "Beste": Der Gastgeber bot an, dass wir jederzeit ausziehen und er die restlichen Nächte voll erstattet. Ausgezogen sind wir, auf die Erstattung warten bis heute. Ist vielleicht ein Geschäftsmodell: Gäste vergraulen und dann die freien Nächte gleich wieder vermieten und so doppelt kassieren. ##### Dominik G. It is quiet, within walking distance of the village (uphill) about 25 minutes where there are good facilities. We like noting more than to sit on the terrace and view the sky with very little light pollution. George is the best 'host' one could get he is always on hand to assist if needed. The facilities in the villa may not be to everyone's taste but they suit us and we know what to expect. All appliances are in good working order. ##### Jenny D. Es war herrlich, keine Nachbarn zu haben. Wir haben diese Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Wir waren täglich unterwegs. Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell am Strand und auch bei weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir haben auch die direkte Umgebung erwandert, ohne das Auto zu nutzen. Kleine Anmerkung: gegenüber des Hauses, über die Straße, ist ein Moto-Cross-Geländes, das die Jugendlichen des Orts gelegentlich zwischen 17:00 und 20:00 Uhr nutzen. ##### Stephan F. We were over an hour trying to locate the property as the HomeAway link to google maps took us to the wrong street. The property is very basic and isolated and certainly not what we were expecting. It is not suitable for young children as the stair case is open on one side and the patio area is unfinished. Only one bed was prepared when we arrived as the owner George thought we only required one bedroom. However, George was very nice and helpful and made the effort to come and prepare the other bedroom and remove the creepy crawly lizard. Strandstrasse von Pissouri zum Strand ist nicht zu befahren, diese liegt vor der Tür. Der Sternenhimmel ist gut zu sehen, da es keine Laternen in der Nähe gibt. Es gibt dank der Terrasse immer Sonne, bis diese hinterm Berg verschwindet. Der Kontakt zu Georg war auch sehr gut, er ist immer erreichbar. ##### H. T. We were met by George and his wife who showed us round and could not have been more helpful. The house was spacious and had everything we required ( wine as well) .
