The kitchen would be difficult to cook a meal in as it's very small and there is the bare minimum cooking equipment, but for making a little breakfast and a mid day snack is totally adequate. You really can't beat the location. Especially if you're into wind sports as door is at most 50m to the water! He is not very quick with messages though. The lock on the door was broken and I didn't sleep well because of that.
