Staff was amazingly helpful - arranged to meet Chiara for a late check-in after plane delayed; and Max was so bubbly and helpful with recommendations. Plenty of cafes and patisseries in the area. "The staff at B&B Cortese was so friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. The breakfast was really a treat. There is very little prepared to order, but the baked goods were excellent, the coffee nice and strong, and the yogurt home-made. From the cafe terrace you have a view of the harbor and a lovely clock tower that seems to be being restored. The rooms were clean and nicely stocked, not spacious but room enough to feel comfortable moving about. The hotel is just next to the University Metro...

"Everything was perfect since we arrived. The staff were so kind going above and beyond at every step, the room had a beautiful view—it’s a bit far from the city but apparently they have a shuttle you can ask for in advance. We stayed in a room with partial seaside view but instead we got a full view! It was as pictured, with a terrace and view to ourselves. Even if you don’t get a room with a view, they have outdoor seating with the most amazing view, and there’s beautiful live music in the evenings from 8-8:30pm. They also have their private seaside/beach area and pool open to guests—many other beaches in the area are not free, while the hotels is both private and free for guests. When we went it was nearly empty, very private, and breathtaking beauty."
