Grounds are not well kept, trash everywhere. Staff is not friendly. One was hostile because I seemed to have been interrupting an important phone call she was having on her cell. WiFi - if you’re lucky enough to get on it is slow and irritating. I chose properly for location which worked well for me. With a bit of clean up, improved WiFi and enhancing customer service could make this place shine. I checked out not even 30 mins after arriving because I did not want to subject my family in staying here nor did I feel comfortable leaving my stuff here for 2 nights without getting my room or car broken into. The check in receptionist was nice and friendly despite being very busy, that was the only positive experience. Everything else went down hill fast. Property: Dog crap through out the complex. One elevator did not work which sucked, but not the end of the world. Security gates left open & few non guest hanging around the property. One of these random people was even sn0rting nose candy on the stairwell out in the open while my family walked by. The pool looked like it would be great but the hot tub I wouldn’t dare touching. Room: I got a “non smoking” room but it smelled like stale cigarettes. An opened bottle of gin in our room plus gum wrappers in the garbage can in the bathroom, perhaps someone wanted to cover up the smell of alcohol while on the clock? LOT of random stains throughout the walls and carpet. There were air fresheners placed inside the air vents. Ash tray & used cigs/vape in the patio. Parking lot: a car had smashed windows from a very large rock that was thrown from hotel patio & one car got their gas siphoned. Went to the receptionist to check out & they didn’t seem very surprised by all that I told them. The Good: The price is the main draw. Morning staff and management were efficient. Staff did a good job cleaning and mopping common floors, and the pool was clean. Nearby amenities are excellent: a Carl's Jr. and a highly recommended, clean coin-less laundromat. Suitable for a solo guest on a tight budget. 👎 The Bad/Safety Concerns: My first room smelled strongly of urine (I was moved immediately). Security is an issue: I was startled by a person living in the dumpster area, and homeless individuals often sleep on the stairs. I encountered prostitutes (a firm "no" was enough). One staff member (long-haired male) was very unpleasant. ⚠️ Maintenance & Other Notes: The key cards consistently deactivate. The single working elevator is unreliable/finicky, and people have been stuck—use the stairs, as the phone doesn't work. Watch your step: guest laziness means dog waste is common in the walkways. No wifi even though they say they have wifi. No mini cooking kitchen even though it said that it had it available in the room I picked. Just wasn't what I we wanted at all. But the staff was nice. Floors were filthy in the rooms.
