Wonderful Stay

Great place to stay in Goodyear area. We had 3 families stay for a baseball tourney and it was perfect with the pool, kitchen well-equipped and everything we needed. Good communication and everything was easy with the process!

Thanksgiving 2022
This is a very nice home in a beautiful area Southwest of Phoenix. It's spacious and inviting. We had some issues that had nothing to do with the house it's self. Just make sure to remind the host of your arrival the day before so the pool and spa will be ready and be mindful of the neighbors. Always take pics of any issues /damage to the place upon arrival to CYA. The house is amazing though!

Algae in pool & house disappointing
We arrived to find the pool green and full of algae. Contacted the owner immediately and he sent in the pool company right away however it took 3 of the 4 days of our stay for the pool water to be clear. So we basically had no pool for our sun holiday. Owner gave us a partial refund. HOWEVER, we would have rather had a usable pool. The house was ok - good layout and well stocked kitchen. Could use some TLC...broken shelves in kitchen cabinets, furnishings a bit dated. Not sparkling clean. Can't recommend.

The house was beautiful and clean. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub heater broke on the third day. We changed rental homes for the heated pool because of coming when it is cooler at night. Everything else was great

The perfect getaway!
We rented this house for an event our company was hosting out in Buckeye. I truly wish we had more time to just lounge around the gorgeous, spacious house! It definitely exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to hopefully have the chance to stay again!

A great time was had by all
We have just spent 8 Day's at Dean's place for a Family get together, our group of 8 Adults had plenty of room as this house is quite spacious. The temperature was in the 90's everyday so most all of our time was spent in or around the heated pool which also has plenty of shade if needed. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe, we also enjoyed all of the walking paths daily. Thank you once again, we look forward to returning. MH, Battleground, WA

Beautiful home and location
We rented this home for a family visit. The home was very clean and comfortable. The pool has an amazing waterfall feature we all loved. The pool could have been cleaned before we arrived as there was quite a bit of debris on the bottom. Other than that we throughly enjoyed the outdoors area. There are great nature trails for nice walks at the end of the street, which we enjoyed. The house backs up to a nature preserve giving the area privacy and beauty. We spotted lots of quail and hummingbirds. There is a shopping center nearby which made picking up groceries for our stay convenient. We made good memories from our stay!

Great House and Location!
This was a spacious, comfortable house for a family of 10. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was large and had everything we wanted or needed The kids loved the big pool and there was a wonderful in ground fire pit in the seating area by the pool to take the chill out of the air when the sun went down. We loved being away from the city lights so we could do a little star watching. The owner and property manager were readily available to help with any issues that came up.

Team's favorite property
The golf team has stayed at several VRBO properties throughout the season and over my 16 years as a division I men's golf team. This by far has been the team's favorite location we have stayed at. Our assistant coach said not to write too good of review because we didn't want someone to rent during our week! Plenty of room for the players upstairs and the en-suite bathroom downstairs is great for the coach. The outdoor space is awesome, grill, pool and spa (that works great and is hot!). The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need to prepare a meal for 10 or more and plenty of seating! Plenty of pots, pans and baking sheets. We have probably stayed at this property 5 or 6 years, the team was disappointed when I told them it was booked the week of our tournament in Goodyear, last year. As they always look forward to staying here, even though it is about 10 or 15 minutes farther away from course then staying at the host hotel. Anyone with teenagers knows they do not give up an extra 10 to 15 minutes of sleep easily, so that in itself should tell you how much they love this house! For me the best part of renting is the owner, communication is unbelievable, he gets back to you right away. The service light was on the heater for the spa (spa and heater was still working fine), we called just to let him know the light was on and service was probably coming up soon. He had someone out there to look at it the next day and by the time we got back from golf the light was off! Property is really close to Estrella Golf club, and short drive down to the Cincinnati Reds, spring training facility. There is also a great little park with a lake/pond that you can walk around and some trails too.

Wedding Trip
Enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice and worked well for our family that had arrived to attend a wedding. We had 12 adults and everyone was very comfortable. There was enough space for family time as well as alone time. Nice to sit around the pool and sunbathe. We all wished that the spa worked and would heat up. Spending time in the spa was something we were all looking forward to to...so that was a bit of a letdown. The pool was also a bit dusty (as pools are in AZ during the spring to summer months) and dirty though we managed to still enjoy some pool time. Owner is very easy to work with and great at keeping in contact. Overall our whole group would recommend this property or even select to stay there in our own future trips to AZ.

It was awesome set up we did have a/c issues that were not fixed which caused my mother in law some struggles with heat up stairs. Everything else was as advertised, owner easy to contact and tried to be helpful. Would revisit again

Randy, I'm sorry you had problems with the upstairs air conditioner during your stay. When you called me about the problem, we immediately put a claim with our insurance protection, and un-fortunately it took them two days + to come out. Well appointed, with many amenities included. If you are visiting Phoenix, must consider reserving.
I plan annual trips between Florida and Phoenix for a party of 7. This house had it all. The owner was timely in responding to the booking and any questions we had. The home was well appointed, beds comfortable, Kitchen had many newer appliances and cookery items you have at home. The home overall felt spa like and the pool was equally wonderful. Definitely a 5 star home. We will be back.

Beautiful home with lots of room. Well equipped
We loved renting this home for a week. It was close to Goodyear Ball park. The pool was clean and the fire pit was a favorite place to sit in the evenings. The walking path around the lake was easy to get to and was very pretty. The kitchen was well equipped! Our group had a great time in this lovely home.

Just a great time
Awesome house! Roomy and very well kept. Spent majority of our time by the pool. With the grill, firepit and spa our nights were just so much fun. The kitchen was spacious and food prep so easy. Just beautiful! Couldn't have asked for better or more.

Amazing house with lots of space!
This house is fantastic! With 5 bedrooms, there was plenty of space for our group of 12 to spread out. The kitchen is large and well-stocked with all cooking supplies and utensils. The kids loved swimming in the pool! Even though it was a little chilly outside, the pool heater kept the pool lovely. Dean is attentive to every detail and easily reachable with any questions. We would definitely rent this house again!!!!

Beautiful property
The Rhino Ranch is a lovely and comfortable house. We found the kitchen well equipped, the beds comfortable and the pool and patio setting beautiful. The karaoke was fun! The BBQ grill was great, the outdoor furniture lovely and plentiful. Just one complaint.... the pool heater was not functioning and we were not able to use the pool.

Fantastic week for our family.
Our family of 10 loved our stay. Plenty of room for everyone. We lived at the pool all week. Enjoyed using guest passes we purchased at the work out facility, paddle boats and took grandkids fishing. Awesome home.

Great Property!
We have stayed here a few years in a row now and is our favorite property we rent throughout the year. There is a lot of space for everyone, the kitchen and family area are great for entertaining and this doesn't even include the outdoor space that is also perfect. The pool and spa are big hits and easy to use and are well maintained. The outdoor grill and cooking spaces is awesome, we cookout 2 or 3 times during the stay. We have rented several houses for our team, and this by far is the favorite and most enjoyable. The house is just minutes from Golf Club of Estrella, which is a fun and great track to play and has great practice facilities. I would highly recommend this property if you are going to the "West" part of Phoenix.

Spring training getaway
We decided to attend some spring training games from Ohio to get away from the cold and watch our team get ready for the season. This house is very close to Goodyear Park. Excellent property. Well kept, clean, and very comfortable. Plenty of room with several different areas to relax or visit both inside or outside. Great find. Everyone loved it. The owner was attentive and communicative. Very easy to work with as well.

Myself and five colleagues loved our spring training stay at the ranch. The home is impressive, large, elegant, and spotless. The pool, hot tub and patio are amazing. It’s close by to many trails for our morning hikes and the ballparks for afternoon ball games. We’ll definatelly come back.

Great place to stay
My brothers and father and I enjoyed a President's Day weekend at Dean's beautiful home. The rooms were spacious, the hot tub was well used after a day on the course, and we enjoyed the plentiful kitchen appliances and utensils that allowed us to cook meals there (if you stay in Estrella Mountain Ranch, plan on cooking; it's a short drive to Safeway and a long drive to a good restaurant). I stayed in the master suite which was awesome. Too bad a couple of shower diverters did not work, and the kitchen faucet could be replaced. Otherwise, the stay would have been perfect. A great home for anyone looking for rooms for a foursome - and a forecaddie!

Awesome house all around
Travelled here over christmas in a family group of 11 people. Lots of room, every room in this place is big! From the pictures it doesnt appear to be as big as it really is, the master bedroom is bigger than most apartments all in itself! Backyard was a blast, awesome pool area, great hot tub, firepit, etc. Had one minor issue regarding the pool heater during our stay, text Dean and he was on top of it right away.

Pool and Sunshine
We spent a week here in late October soaking in the sunshine and lounging in and around the wonderful pool and spa. The spacious well appointed house was great for relaxing with friends. We walked the trails around the community lakes almost every day. We will certainly be returning soon!

Great vacation house!
This is a wonderful, large home with room for all to spread out. Communication was good. The backyard is an oasis. Just a few steps to trail that takes you to the beautiful lakes of Estrella. Highly recommend this property!

Heat in the valley of the sun
The weather was hot and sunny. They broke records in the 90's. The air conditioner wasn't working right the 1st day we got there. Thanks to Dean's help the problem was fixed. The house has everything you would need and is beautifully decorated. We spent a lot of time in the pool. The temperature was perfect. The landscaping is stunning. Great house, perfect for a family getaway!!
We stayed at the Rhino Ranch Christmas week and had a wonderful time!! The house was clean and spacious and was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a great layout for communal cooking while the kids played. We were originally worried about it being too cold to swim this time of year, but we used the pool and hot tub multiple times a day and had a blast! The outdoor space was certainly a highlight for us. Having the grocery store 3 minutes away was a selling point. We also enjoyed walking around the lake each morning and stopping by Oasis bagel afterwards for breakfast. I would highly recommend this house for people of all ages. Thanks Dean and MaryAnn!!

The house was perfect for our family gathering of 7 persons giving us peace and comfort. The location was grerat, a golf course, a lake in a neighbor park, and mountain trails near. In addition, we had prompt responses from the owner as we requested some services.

Beautiful house but not worth it
We had booked the house for an 8 day stay and when we arrived nothing was ready for us. Both refrigerators had not been cleaned from the previous renters. The TV's didn't work in any other room but the living room for the first four days, as the cable system needed upgrading. The pool lighting and backyard lights didn't work for half the time making it unsafe to use in the evenings. The hot tub light only worked for one day out of the of the eight days. Many necessary lightbulbs throughout the house weren't working and needed replacing. Circuit breakers were off for some things with no instructions on this or where to turn them back on. The neighbourhood is nice, its close to grocery stores and such, but the neighbor has dogs, which she lets out into the backyard to bark for long periods at a time, making the pool area not very pleasant at times. The kitchen sink garburator was broken which caused the sink to backup so it had to be plunged all the time, and was never fixed. The washing machine was also broken and when notified of this as with the other issues she did call the service people, but tried to put the responsibility of meeting the repair people on us, which meant we were house bound for that time. We found this week long holiday time a stressful time, spending an inordinate amount of time troubleshooting and back and forth to rectify issues and although we requested a token compensation for it, none was offered or given. Lovely house on the outside but it has lots of issues.The house itself is large and nice but given the number of issues with it and lack of management its not worth it.

We have used VRBO because of their credibility & our goal is complete satisfaction for every guest. If there are any issues during your stay, our management team (which lives in the community) will address them promptly, like everyone would expect.

Beautiful well-equipped home in Phoenix suburb
The nine of us adult family members had a wonderful time here! It is a stunning home, quite large enough for us all, with the very best kitchen equipment I have ever seen. The area has hiking and biking opportunities for the energetic, and a great back yard for grilling and hot-tubbing. Sadly, the pool failed to heat for us. Wifi and TV worked great. The bird life in and around the neighborhood was wonderful!

the home and backyard are lovely
enjoyed staying at this lovely home for our trip to Goodyear. the back year is really nice with a large pool and spa, fire pit and bbq area. plenty of seating for our large group if you wanted sun or shade. the fireplace was a nice touch when it was raining and cool outside. the kitchen was very well equipped with an electric skillet, large crock pot and everything else you would need. all appliances worked well. we are sports people so the 65 inch HDTV was really enjoyed between football and racing. the one drawback is the fact that the only bathroom on the first floor is in a bedroom so the couple in that bedroom had to share. (but they knew that) the two bathrooms upstairs are large. also one day when everyone was taking showers we did run out of hot water, so may need to stagger showers. the Estrella Mountain community is pretty with two lakes to walk around and at night the fountains are lit up. the shopping center is just around the corner with a large Safeway. I would highly recommend this large lovely home.
