« Hotels in the U.P. are much more limited and usually not a big chain unless you are willing to pay a crazy amount and have reservations way in advance. « Rooms decorated like little cabins with a theme to each room. One of our rooms was the Bear room and the other was the Fishing room. The hotel is next to a “marsh” area so birds are chirping in the am and tree frogs at night. Although the motel is next to the main road, there is not much traffic. Beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! »

« This is a hidden gem of Munising! There was no staff onsite but we had no problems with remote check in. The property was quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommend! »

« I stayed two nights. I came in late the first night and the owner was super friendly and I didn't feel like an imposition at all making him check me in late. The motel looks updated and clean, and had everything I needed. »

« Very new and very clean. First the good. Firm mattresses, TVs in each room, decent shower, nice oven and microwave and fridge. Dryer was key as well. Only criticisms if I had to: counter stools are the wrong height for the counters, gravel outside each doorway tends to track inside. Would be great if they added decking or community grill spots too. Our TV in one bedroom wouldn’t play properly but we didn’t care that much with two other functional TVs. I’d come a bit better prepared next time to...
