« We had a great stay at the Kakanui Cube. The house is well-designed, modern, clean, with all the amenities you need (laundry, sharp knives, comfortable bed, plenty of space). We slept so well with the sea air nearby, and woke up early each morning to catch the magnificent sunrises. Equally enjoyable are the sunsets — the way Kakanui is situated you can enjoy both over the ocean. The house is in a rural area so WiFi bandwidth can be an issue — it may not be practical to expect to be on zoom calls...

« Comfortable and spacious, close to the town centre and facilities such as Countdown and restaurants. Was sent the address after we had started our trip and had to chase the manager for it. Apparently there was a glitch in the system. Perhaps because the bathroom is new, (with a great tub!), there weren't any towel rails or a shower basket/shelves (found a broken one under the sink). »

« We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has everything needed and is very nicely decorated and well-kept, clean and comfortable. The road noise from early morning traffic may not be to the liking of some, but reminds us of wake up time. The host was very helpful to make sure we knew how to use the very modern induction hob and oven. The people we met were a delight, very friendly and helpful. It was an ideal spot to drive around the vicinity and tour. »

« Tidy, modern amenities and comfortable house with a gorgeous view. Our family enjoyed our stay - especially the comfortable beds. It was a good base for us to visit family in the area. "Il a fallu téléphoner à la réceptionniste qui était au pub pour avoir la clé de la cabine, alors que nous étions dans le créneau horaire imparti. Accueil minimaliste et rapide du coup. Sinon pour le reste rien à redire..."
