Property Details: This 90-sqm apartment is located on the 4th floor with an elevator. There is a space that can be used as a living, dining or home office area. It is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. The apartment includes Wi-Fi, suitable for working from home and making video calls. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, electric tea kettle, toaster, refrigerator, stove, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, and more. Full sets of dishes, cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. There is a clothes washing machine in the property and a drying rack is provided. An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available. All bedrooms are interior courtyard facing and furnished with double beds and superior quality mattresses. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat has one bathroom accessible via the hallway with a shower and sink. The toilet is located in a separate water closet. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap to start your stay. Our guests’ safety is our top priority, which is why the flat is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each arrival. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. The Neighborhood: About the Paris 8th Arrondissement Location: This area is also just a few minute’s walk from one of the most popular shopping streets in the world, the Champs-Elysées. Stop and shop at the famous Louis Vuitton and Chanel boutiques or satisfy your sweet tooth with a stop at Ladurée for some tasty macarons. At the top of the Champs Elysees lies the monumental Arc de Triomphe. Offering gorgeous views of the whole city and Eiffel Tower, this is a truly unique and gorgeous landmark. Within walking distance, you also have the Grand Palais de la Découverte as well as the Petit Palais. You are also just a stone’s throw from the Place de la Concorde. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from surrounding the apartment, including classic French bistros and brasseries, Michelin-starred restaurants or even just a quick sandwich at a café – you will be spoilt for choice. Equally, the supermarket is close by where you can buy all the ingredients to prepare a meal in the kitchen. If you prefer to reach your destinations a little faster, just steps from the apartment’s front door is the Metro station Saint-Philippe-du-Roule (Line 9), making it a breeze to access other areas of the capital. Just hop on the Metro to reach the Marais, Montmartre and the Sacre Cœur, the Eiffel Tower and more! The bedrooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the proximity to the Champs Elysee and other major tourist attractions is amazing. The check-in process was complicated by the use of the Swikly app for the security deposit. The Swikly app was not user friendly and the Swikly customer service was not useful. This added a bit of stress to the check in process because the address and key pick up directions would not be shared until the deposit was entered in the Swikly app but the app kept freezing. The towel heaters in the bathrooms work very well, but get very hot very quickly. Tout est conforme aux photos que l’on peut voir sur HomeAway. Cependant, la communication avec le gestionnaire est impossible: aucune réponse aux questions posées lors de la réservation, le téléphone du gestionnaire reste injoignable, la procédure pour récupérer les clés ne m’a été donnée que la veille de l’arrivée, un dépôt de garantie de 800 euros à du être fait pour connaître la localisation précise du bien, ce dépôt ne m’a toujours pas été remboursé deux semaines après notre retour et je me fait balader par le gestionnaire mais également par HomeAway qui dit ne pas être responsable alors même que la garantie est mentionnée sur sa facture.
