Il dispose aussi d'une terrasse très agréable pour boire un verre ou un café face à la vue ! Montmartre , un des quartiers les plus pittoresques et touristiques de Paris! Le Sacré Coeur domine Montmartre dans toute sa Splendeur! Une vue imprenable sur Paris! La vue s'etend jusqu'a 50 km à la ronde ! Incontournable,la butte montmartre acceuille le sacré coeur et offre aux touristes , un voyage dans un Paris effervescent ! Point de depart d'une ballade dans le temps , le quartier présente de nombreux attraits . .Administré par les bénédictines la basilique du sacré cœur héberge un minuscule terrain planté de vignes.Chaque année, lors de la récolte, le quartier organise la fête des vendanges rassemblant de nombreux visiteurs et artisans afin de valoriser des produits du terroir.A seulement quelques pas de la vigne, on découvre déjà la maison de Dalida, précédant le mythique cabaret « le lapin agile ».Des spectacles y sont encore proposés.Par son exposition idéale et la lumière qu’elle offrait, Montmartre vit séjourner de nombreux artistes tels que Cezanne,Wlaminck, Renoir, Degas, Braque ou Picasso pour n’en citer que quelques uns.L’esprit demeure intact et les stars s’y cachent encore... En longeant le Sacré-Cœur, vous arrivez à un autre lieu prestigieux : la Place du Tertre. Un site idéal pour se prêter aux caricatures des artistes de rues. Entre les petites échoppes et le célèbre Moulin, voici déjà la place des Abbesses qui se profile. Foisonnante de restaurants, elle reflète une atmosphère toute particulière, dont seul le quartier du Sacré Cœur détient le secret. Puis voilà la Place Pigalle : au 19ème siècle les peintres impressionnistes allaient au marché, près de la fontaine et y trouvaient leurs modèles. Aujourd’hui, les cabarets ont laissé la place à des établissements érotiques, attirant de nombreux touristes. On y découvre notamment le célèbre Moulin Rouge ou encore le Musée de l’érotisme.Plusieurs lignes de métro aboutissent aux alentours du Sacré-Cœur et de la Butte Montmartre. Un funiculaire achemine également les visiteurs vers le Sacré Cœur. Les commerces alimentaires y sont nombreux ainsi que les magasins de souvenirs et les restaurants qui ont conservé l’esprit parisien. La rue Lepic illustre parfaitement l’esprit village. The views and light are amazing. Martine was a delightful host, communicating quickly and comprehensively to all my questions before and during the stay. The apartment is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed. There’s no clothes dryer, but there are lines in the utility room to hang up clothes after washing. Even in July, there was no need for A/C (and I’m from Texas and used to it). There was always a breeze through the apartment whenever we wanted it, and good strong fans for every room with a bed. It’s steps away from the views at the base of the Sacre Coeur, and a short walk to the ambience of the Place du Tertre. I hope to stay here again in the not too distant future! ##### Chris D. Although you're facing away from the more notable landmarks in Paris, the view is still stunning. Her apartment has plenty of space for a family of four with plenty of light coming in from the windows and sliding doors, with beautiful views of the Sacre Coeur and the rooftops of Paris. Having the additional futon bed in the main room, separate from the sitting area, was a nice bonus as we did not have to make up the futon into a couch every morning, and having the added table and chairs in that room allowed us to enjoy some evening chess games while we relaxed together. The bathroom situation worked very well for the four of us, with a separate toilet room and a large shower room with double sinks and a spacious shower. We loved the location of the apartment, as we could walk in one direction for the tourist area and the other direction for the local resident experience. There are plenty of markets and shops within a short walking distance which made it very easy to keep the kitchen stocked with what we needed each day. Martine was a very reliable, responsive and helpful host, always responding quickly when we had questions during our stay. The apartment was also very quiet at night despite the fact that it is so close to the Sacre Coeur area. We never heard any sounds from any of the other apartments. I cannot recommend Martine’s apartment enough. ##### Alicia Z. Amazing location, close to metro and easy to get around the city. Restaurants just steps away. The Montmartre neighborhood is lovely and I loved being so close to Sacré Coeur. And I cannot say enough compliments about the view from the apartment! The perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The apartment was super clean and Martine, the host, communicated well with us to make check in and check out so easy. It is a short 5 minute walk to Sacre Coeur (which can be seen from some of the windows) in the beautiful Montmarte area. Less than a 10 minute walk to at least 3 different subway lines also allows easy access to anywhere else in Paris we wanted to go. The apartment is quite large and very bright as there are large sliding glass windows in the main area that open onto a beautiful view. 2 spacious bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Finally, the host Martine was very responsive and helpful in any communications. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again next time in Paris. ##### Jonathan K.
