« Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. « To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. « This was our 1st trip to Hocking Hills! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved our cabin! It had everything we needed and communication with the host was excellent! We especially loved the hot tub after long days of hiking! The big screen tv with all the channel options was nice too, along with excellent wifi! The only downside for us was the location. We didnt realize how far away we were from the trails, stores, restaurants, etc. We spent alot of time driving!! So just keep this in mind...

« The room was ideal. Large. Clean. Great bath with a multifunction shower. However, all of the lights are 6000k LEDs which is fine if you're shopping, but atrocious in a bedroom. There was no escape. I wound up turning everything off and using ambient light from Athens. Fix that and you'll have an ideal spot. »

The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. Within about 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills attractions. Would stay here again!! »

The other issue we had, for three of us to stay in this room - they really need to upgrade to queen size beds. Full size beds with two grown adults is just not comfortable. »
