« Phyllis was a great host and very accommodating. Everything was so clean and she had goodies waiting for us when we arrived! Phyllis provided everything so we didn’t even need anything. We loved hanging out on the back patio, so nice just to sit and relax! Plenty of room to park our boat which was an added bonus! We will definitely be back to stay again! »

« Our family enjoyed our visit to the Pamlico River while attending ECU graduation activities. There was plenty of room for 9 adults to spread out. The house was incredibly clean too. If any questions come up the owner was quick to respond and hospitable. I would absolutely recommend considering friends and family to stay at this beautiful house on the water. »

« We enjoyed this cottage so much! It was clean, had just the right amount of space, and had a huge backyard for our dog to play in. The owner was also very helpful and answered any questions we had. If you ever need a place to stay in Washington, or are going to an ECU game and don’t mind the short drive, this is the place to stay!! »

« An absolutely charming little house just as advertised. The AC upstairs worked very well. This little house had everything we need for our long weekend trip. They even left a gift basket full of delicious treats. »

« We had a lovely time. The only thing I would change, was that the back deck was covered in Pine needles, and we had to wipe it all down before we could even sit. And the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. The one small skillet is Teflon and the Teflon‘s been scratched up and we don’t use those kind of pans anymore. The other one was a nice pan and there was a nice pot, but that was it. Overall it was a very quaint little cottage. »
