THE POULAILLER GUEST HOUSE

A Dive into History: The Authentic Charm of the Grotta
Welcome to a place where time seems to have stood still. This is not just a house, but a sensory experience dedicated to those who love the breath of history and the character of ancient spaces.
Why choose this retreat?
If you’re a traveller seeking the soul of a place rather than the perfection of modern concrete buildings, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for here. The stone walls tell the story of centuries of life and offer an atmosphere that no five-star hotel could ever replicate.
The “Living” Stone Experience
Staying in a cave means embracing a living, dynamic environment. By its very nature, stone breathes and interacts with the outside world:
For lovers of authenticity: Here you’ll find that distinctive scent of historic homes and a unique natural temperature.
A place in motion: Unlike a standardized, “static” hotel room, this home has its own rustic and original personality.
Is this the right place for you?
We want your stay to be unforgettable, which is why we’re very transparent:
✅ Yes, book if: You love vintage style, the charm of archaeology, natural materials, and are looking for an extraordinary adventure.
❌ No, this isn’t for you if: You’re looking for a sterile, modern, and perfectly controlled environment. If you’re a fan of “perfection” and ultra-modern industrial design, this space might not be right for you.

Parking and Traffic

Getting around and parking near “Il Pollaio” is easy thanks to several options designed for every need:
Short-Term Parking (Right Outside): Right next to the property, you can park along the street in the white-lined spaces. Parking is free and open to the public, regulated by a parking disc (maximum 90 minutes), ideal for loading/unloading luggage or running quick errands.
Long-Term Parking (Worry-Free): Just 200 metres from the apartment is a large public parking lot where you can leave your car for free day and night, with no time limits and no need to move your vehicle.

Guest Reminder
Tip: If you plan to explore the village on foot for the entire day, we suggest heading straight to the long-term parking lot 200 metres away; it’s a very short walk and will allow you to leave your car there with complete peace of mind and freedom.

If you would like all the beds in the property to be made up, please let us know at the time of booking
