Inside, enjoy modern amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. Savor fresh oysters, crab, and shrimp from local mongers! This house was pretty much the best deal we could find in the area. The house was as listed on the website. No surprises. Pros: Perfect location for us. Nice new walkway to the beach and Gulf of Mexico. It has 2 king beds and a double, plus other pull outs. Beds were very comfortable with great pillows. Very clean beach house. Shower had good hot water supply. I texted the property manager with a few questions and he got right back to me quickly. We didn't use all the kitchen appliances but the refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher worked fine. Cons: Its a beach house so does have some wear and tear just like any house on the beach. I don't recall seeing the 175 cleaning fee when I booked, possible I missed it. The owners clearly care a lot about their property, as it is well taken care of. This is a beautiful property with old Florida charm. Within 20 minutes you have at least 4 restaurants that were all very good. If I ever wanted to buy property in Florida this is where I would be. We have been visiting this area of Florida for over 20 years and this house and our hosts checked all the boxes in the best ways. Right on the beach - check. Well-stocked kitchen equipment - check. Screened porch - check. Comfortable beds and pillows - check. Responsive and kind host - check!! Any issues - and there were a few small questions I had - and the hosts were quick and helpful. We did several outings - to Wakulla Springs for the boat tour and lunch. And the aquarium at Gulf Specimen Marine. Lots of opportunities to go on nature hikes in the area! And the beach is just stunning. We saw dolphins! And tons of birds, including osprey. Also don’t forget the night sky! The clarity can’t be beat.
