"I searched the web for an inexpensive room in the Homestead area for Friday night to break up what I knew would be a brutal drive from Ft. Myers to Big Pine Key for Memorial Day weekend. Fairway Inn appeared at the top of the list, was highly rated and had a reasonable rate. When we arrived I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the grounds in a city that isn't known for being cofured. I was even more impressed when I entered the office and was warmly greeted by Juanita. She exuded warmth, friendliness and professionalism. After an efficient check-in we made it to our room and found it to be clean and adequate for our needs. Long story short, in a town where everything I wrote about above is hard to find, the Fairway Inn delivers the goods."

"Terrible overall! I am still waiting on the reimbursement. The stay could only be one night - enough time to arrange to get out. The pictures on the website does NOT reflect what the property looks like. How deceptive! The feeling was really unsettling. Environment: Packed with shady undesirables. Looks like a hotspot for criminal activity. As a matter-of-fact, remnants of artifacts etc. were left on one of the tables in the common area. How unsafe! I demand a reimbursement as promised please. I URGE YOU, please remodel, organize a new opening and share truthful pictures. I pray you receive the constructive criticism well. Thank you."

"The property is nice but needs updating. The jets on the hot top do not work and the pool needs to be cleaned. We were there 5 days and no on cleaned the pool. I had asked for a dish towel and never got one. Also I think a safety bar should have been put in the tub. The tub is high and I had trouble getting in the tub to take a shower because of how high the sides of the tub are. It would have been nice if they offered coffee and tea all day like some of the other hotels do. The employees were all very nice."
