"One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location is excellent; about 5 minutes walk from train station and very quiet! The lobby/lounge is like stepping back in time to classy 40’s. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was lovely; comfortable bed, sheets and fabulous towels. We also had a massage when we first arrived being we had been traveling prior to Genoa and I had an excellent lymphatic drainage massage. Fantastic! Trains took us to Rapello for a boat tour to less traveled Italian Riviera villages. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!"

"It's not a 5Star hotel but has the necessary amenities to make your stay pleasant. Hotel is centrally located, very walkable area. Parking is only a couple of blocks walking so great if you're driving. Staff was great and gave us recommendations to where to visit, eat, etc. Great value... "

"This was a lovely place that suited our family well. There was plenty of room for four of us. I liked the location, very walkable. Make sure to insist on instructions for getting in the building. We didn’t know which number to ring and were waiting in the rain outside. We got in because a guitar was coming out and he directed us to the right room and floor to check in. I never received an email with this information. After check in, everything was fine. "

"The room we selected, Porta Soprana) is not a suite. It has an independent bathroom/toilet 5-6 meters (or 15-18’) walking distance from the room. It’s somewhat inconvenient when using the toilet during midnight."

"Check in was good. Quick and efficient. Room was a bit strange. Looked directly into the internal courtyard . Layout was not ideal. Pillows a bit hard. Property is nice in a very good part of town. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Nuvole. You get the service of a 4 stars (reception and breakfast in the main palazzo). The room is in a different building next to the palazzo. The floor where we stayed was totally renovated, mixing old and new with style! We loved it."

"Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and clean and comfortable bedroom (ask for one on back of building for less noise). The only minor complaint is a mold stain in the shower, which should be removed."
