It is a 10 minute walk from the bus station and even closer to the cool markets, just over the river, over the bamboo bridge! We were however disappointed with the staff, everywhere we have stayed in Thailand we have been greeted with a big smile and lots of helpful advice, here it felt as though our arrival was an inconvenience and we were not offered a map or any advice, luckily the locals on the market stall were more than happy to help out. Close to the centre of town and the nightly walking street but far enough away to be very quiet. Bamboo huts are eco friendly also. The supplied free breakfast is pretty spartan but will satisfy all but the fussiest guests. Getting there by car or motorbike takes 5 minutes from the town centre but the property is only 3 minutes walk from town as there is a bamboo foot bridge close by.
