Went to St. Anthony Basilica. That was great too. This was a great place to stay as we used it to tour Padova and also close proximity to buses and train station to get to Venice, for an inexpensive trip.

It’s a charming and pleasant city that is conveniently located near Venice, but is far less crowded and offers superior value as it’s prices are realistic and not VENICE INFLATED. This was especially the case for dining.

Padova is a lovely town, very Italian both modern and ancient. The sights are superb - a Borghiello cruise down the Brenta Canal to Venice, with 3 villas to visit; the Scrovegni Chapel, the Palace of Reason, lovely squares and tiny covered streets.
