Although small, there was a full size bed, outdoor kitchen, indoor kitchen, seating area to relax either indoors or outdoors, shower, toilet, and storage hooks which are so underrated in vacation rentals to have a good way to stash your stuff out of the way. « This is such a unique and beautiful cottage. The cottage is spacious, charming, and beautifully presented. All the extras the host provided (soft drinks, milk, coffee, bread, etc.) were a lovely touch and made the experience even more special.
The nature walking trails and outdoor bath were highlights of our stay. The rustic, vintage vibe creates a wonderful atmosphere, and the fireplace adds a romantic touch. As an added bonus, I was able to bring my dog along.

« Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby. It felt like we were sleeping in a tent next to the train tracks, so not good for light sleepers. Comi g fro. Someone who lives next to an airport. « I was so impressed with the Kozy Kottage, it was perfect and homely. There was food in the cupboards, fridge and freezer, all there for you to use, including eggs, milk, bread, condiments and all you need for cooking, oil, salt pepper etc and fruit in the fruit bowl, the beds were comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. I would 100% recommend this to everyone, we will definitely be using it again. Thank you for a great stay Kozy Kottage »

Nice big apartment and easily accessible.
Downside is shower was incredibly small and shower curtain didn’t keep the water in.

« Our group felt so cozy and homey at Fantail cottage while we explored nearby Hamilton and Hobbiton. Fiona was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and the provided milk, coffee, hot chocolate, and cereals was a nice touch. Everyones favorite part is that the shower was hot with really good water pressure! We also really enjoyed the chickens (chooks) and they seemed to like our food scraps just as much. Thank you for a lovely stay :) »
