« Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). « We had a fantastic stay at the Rainforest Cottage. The property was extremely clean and very private. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and there was a large supply of items for use on day excursions (coolers, snorkeling gear, etc). « This home looked great in the pictures, but they honestly do not do it justice. Definitely the nicest property we ever stayed at! Immaculate, roomy, and well supplied, it exceeded all our expectations. The sunrises were different ever morning, but each one spectacular. The abundance of sea turtles for watching in the water near the shore may have been our favorite part. Thank you for sharing this place with us! »

« Totally unique off grid experience smack in the middle of the jungle. Think tiny house meets summer camp! Misty, the property host, gave an excellent introduction to the property and amenities. Her knowledge of flora and fauna enhanced our experience. Don’t worry about trading comfort for rural retreat. Our bedroom cabin was super clean, warm, appointed with quality linens and towels, and worked well for the four of us. This is a must do experience you won’t stop thinking about. »

« The place was super nice with very helpful owner. Beautiful inside and outside. The only thing that owner could do is advise people upstair to be more careful has the floor in wood bounce back on lower apartment and when you try to sleep it can be very dissapointing and specially when someone star is loundry at 7 in morning. »

« The house, which my children called the Treehouse, was absolutely beautiful. We loved listening to all the birds and frogs in the jungle surrounding.
