Or maybe a group of friends who love spending time in the mountains and want to enjoy convenient access to some of the best hiking, mountain biking and natural beauty in the country! The bedroom layout is as follows: Bedroom # 1 - Two Twins Bedroom # 2 - Twin and Twin over Full Bunk Bedroom # 3 - Queen Bedroom # 4 - King Bedroom # 5 - Queen Enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer at this Prime Alpine Meadows Location \- Easy Alpine Meadows / Palisades Ski Resort Access during the winter month via the Mountaineer Shuttle (picks up / drops off at driveway)! \- 10 minutes from Tahoe City \- 20 minutes from Truckee \- 30 minutes from Stateline, NV casinos Local property management provided by Mountain Getaways. Placer County STR24-9020 Booking guest must be 25 years of age or older. Maximum 12 adults per county ordinance. Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily. No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains. No smoking of vaping. No commercial photography and / or filming allowed. While this house is “pet friendly”, all pets must be disclosed when booking and a non-refundable pet fee must be paid. Maximum 2 mid-size dogs per rental group (any others must be approved by host in advance). Guests agree to take full financial responsibility should there be any damage or additional cleaning required due to pets presence. There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage and 3 -4 vehicles in the driveway. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance). It is also strictly forbidden by the HOA within this neighborhood. All vehicles must be parked either in the garage or on the driveway. No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill). Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage. Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home. The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way). While the entry area is mostly covered, during winter storms, some snow may accumulate and will need to be shoveled in order to be maintained. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there may be some shoveling required. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions. WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle. ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. Cabin is very spacious.Only problems I had were with the general condition of the cabin itself.
