« A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a very quiet neighborhood. I particularly loved being able to see the starry night sky and early-morning wildlife while lying in bed. Very well equipped kitchen with a filtered-water tap and abundant supplies of everything (except light bulbs). Put a Sea Ranch visitor pass on your dash and take Vantage Rd for easy coastal trail access. Only 4 miles to Gualala restaurants, groceries, and kayaking. »

« This would be a five-star review in all aspects except for a few maintenance issues that need attention: 1. Some light bulbs need to be replaced: one in the entry hall, one at ceiling level in the living room area, and one under-cabinet light in the kitchen. 2. The guest bath sink drain plug is inoperable. 3. The guest bathroom toilet paper dispenser falls apart when used. With these maintenance issues addressed, we’d highly recommend this home for a quiet retreat for a couple. »

« Abalone Point is a wonderful home for an extended family reunion. My large family, consisting of four siblings and our spouses, spent three nights here. « There were three of us - myself, my granddaughter and her partner, along with my little Havanese pup. The house is spacious - we didn't even use the upstairs at all. The kitchen was stocked with necessities like salt/pepper/sugar, various herbs. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and loved seeing a doe and her fawn walk by in the evenings. We watched many birds in the tall trees and felt renewed after our two-night stay. We would definitely rent the house again. »

« My wife and I loved our time in the cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, it had a beautiful view of the Pacific, whether you were looking from the large front window or relaxing on the deck. The cabin was also a wonderful starting point to explore Mendocino County. The folks at the Anchor Bay store were extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend the Hi-Tor cabin. »
