"We stayed at The Elmwood only very briefly, en route to Cape Breton, but were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. Due to traffic delays we arrived well after their usual office hours (7a-7p) but management had arranged to have a clerk on the desk to greet us -- we very much appreciated that above-and-beyond service."
Driftwood Cottage with Cottages of Maine, Lake Great Pond, Dog Friendly, Kayaks
10/10 Excellent
"The home was perfect for family fun kayaking, swimming and boating. The location to Great Pond was great with a beach/launch area we all enjoyed. We brought out Golden Retriever Ruby who learned to swim this week and actually jump off the dock. All of us had a fun week."
Cozy Cottage on water's edge of Lake Cobbosseecontee
10/10 Excellent
"The location is perfect, right on the lake with a private dock. The screened in porch gets you bug free evenings to listen to the sound of the lake after sunset. This is a lake camp. Tidy and comfortable. Rustic yet functional. "
"Easy 5/5 rating. The most peaceful week in Maine thanks to this house, lake and gorgeous back deck. We could not have had a better experience. Cannot recommend this place enough! "
