Modern house and very spacious. Open plan kitchen and lounge with leather chairs and two couches. Large bedrooms all with a views of the Mountains (Mt Cook) and Lake Ohau 3 bedrooms downstairs 1 Queen, 1 twin (queen and single), 3 single beds and one queen upstairs. There is a large deck at the rear of top storey. The house is built to make the most of the view of the mountains and lake. The house belongs to former owners of the Lodge and Ski field.

Alpine splendor…
Big beautiful house just across from Lake Ōhau Lodge - very very spacious and full of books and spotless kitchen and baths. At the end of the road above the lake with stunning views. Grant was absolutely marvelous - prompt confirmation, answers to questions, we absolutely enjoyed ourselves and I would be thrilled to return for a longer stay. Anything you’d want is nearby and Twizel has a fantastic Thai restaurant with cheerful staff and great food. So nugh about this place is hands down great.

The house had plenty of room, super warm. Amazing views. Beds all comfy and warm. Electric blankets but not needed. Great to have a washing machine. Cupboards with all the essentials and more and best of all Close to our new favourite mountain!! The staff on the mountain were amazing too. We will be back for sure.

This is such a stunning, comfortable house in the most beautiful place in the world! It has everything you need to be self sufficient and the views from the house are incredible. We had a fantastic stay at Grant’s place. It had the most amazing views of lake ohau from the living room. The bed was comfy and we loved the added touch of robes in each room. We were there for a wedding so the lodge was just a short walk away. We’d love to come back with a large group for the ski season.
