Really close to the beach and downtown, yet quiet and not any downtown noise. I think we right above the laundry and heard it every morning around 4am. That wasn't great.

Great location to shops and restaurants and short walk to marginal way. In front of the property faces the ocean and they have lounge chairs to sit,relax and enjoy the view. We enjoyed the wonderful free continental breakfast and sat on the pretty porch with the view of the ocean. We had a std room with king size bed and found it comfortable. We really liked it here and will come back again.

Nice Winter Stay
Our stay at Terrace by the Sea in Ogunquit, Maine, was excellent in every way. Our room was spacious and comfortable. the breakfasts were excellent. The service was reliable and efficient. We were walking distance to town with our favorite haunts and restaurants.

Very clean and friendly. Expanded continental breakfast had lots of choices including delicious fresh fruit and fresh flavored waters.

Beautiful time
We had room 114 it had a huge porch that was fantastic to watch the sun rise and right next to the lobby. It had a fireplace and all was comfortable.

We were here only one night and we found the hotel to be comfortable with very nice staff. It was our first stay here but I am sure we will be back next summer.

A real keeper!!
Wonderful late fall stay here! Our room was huge, with an upstairs living area, and a wonderful view of Ogunquit Beach. Breakfast had a porch option and had everything except lacked proteins: hard boiled eggs would’ve been a nice option. Welcoming service. Parking is a little confusing but check with the front office for help. Easy walk down to the beach, and not far from the Marginal Way. Plus also a very easy short walk right into town for restaurants, etc. Will definitely try to return again!

A beautiful Oqunquit stay
We had a wonderful stay. We have been visiting Oqunquit for over 45 years. We upgraded to an ocean view room....a good decision.....closer to the hotel breakfast room and a beautiful view. Staff were extremely pleasant.....we even met Claudine who we knew from our Black Boar Inn days. Breakfast always fresh .....loved having the NY Times available every day! We will return.

The property was beautiful and very well-maintained. The rooms were clean the little outdated. Breakfast in the morning was very good. I would say that a couple of the people that worked at the desk were not very friendly.

Nice location, incredible views.
A couple of employees were a bit unfriendly, made no effort to be friendly. However, the rest that we encountered were very sweet. The weather happened to be amazing and the views can't be beat. I have a gluten allergy and except for fruit, there really wasn't anything that I could eat for breakfast. Next time, we will request a room overlooking the water!

Our stay was short, but somehow in my mind I've been sitting in a chair on their front lawn gazing at the ocean ever since. Most places have what you need. Terrace by the Sea does -- and one more thing. Charm.

Room was basic but clean. We were woken from a sound sleep early in the morning by a dumpster directly behind our room being emptied. We spoke to the reception desk & they could've cared less. The continental breakfast was decent with a beautiful view.

Perfect location right in the middle of Ogunquit
Stayed in a double queen room. Even though the room was somewhat outdated, it was extremely clean. Location is perfect - right in the middle of town. Enjoyed the continental breakfast overlooking the beautiful beach!! A must is a walk along the Marginal Way to Perkin’s Cove - accessible a short distance from Terrace by the Sea.

Wonderful stay
Terrace by the Sea was a great place to stay. Beautiful scenery, right on the ocean. Our room had the ocean view. Was wonderful seeing the ocean right outside your window. Enjoyed the free breakfast. Chairs on the lawn to sit and watch the ocean. Close to all the shops so you didn't need to move your car from the parking lot.

Excellent location with easy walking to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were very clean, but older and musty-smelling. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we loved the lawn chairs overlooking the ocean.
