This historic brick store was built back in the 1930s, nestled on 26th Street (right next to historic 25th Street). There is a little Mexican market within walking distance, just in case you need anything during your stay. It has a history of being a boutique, a hardware store, and a beloved toy shop but has now been renovated into a modern, yet original living space. The original brick and beams have been preserved in order to keep its historic charm but it has also been updated enough to provide a modern and cozy stay. Big, frosted windows provide photo studio lighting -- making for a good photo session or a fantastic selfie while providing total privacy! And for it to exist in Ogden, UT was such a surprise!You'll see from the pictures, it's spacious and beautifully detailed. The heating system was responsive and kept us toasty in wintery weather. Love the kitchen! I wish I could have cooked a meal here. Our host was very responsive.One addition to suggest - a location to hang coats - a pine armoire or rustic hooks would be easy to install somewhere. A heated bathroom floor would have been heavenly, but we get it, a remodel of this magnitude took some cash. The little notes left around the place were hilarious.
