Summary: Salty air and coastal views abound at this beautiful 4-bedroom townhome, nestled right on the shore of Indian River Bay. 3 rear decks face the bay, each with comfortable furnishings and expansive views. The front deck provides even more outside space to enjoy overlooking the marina. Although you’re within minutes of popular beaches and local attractions, you’ll be content to spend relaxing days at this beautiful home and the community’s shared pool. The Space: Inside, the bright and vibrant coastal design feels like an extension of the beach itself. Multiple living spaces provide ample seating for your whole group to relax and spend time together. The open-concept kitchen is equipped for convenient cooking at home and whipping up picnics for your days on the beach. Stunning views can be enjoyed from much of the home, including the formal dining area, but of course it’s never a bad idea to dine at the outdoor table with unimpeded views and a fresh ocean breeze. This home sleeps 8 guests in 4 private bedrooms. Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king size bed, gas fireplace, tv, patio access, and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a king size bed, tv, patio access, and ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms #3 and #4 each have a queen size bed and tv. THINGS TO NOTE: Kayaks and bikes are available for your use. Please note that this home can accommodate up to 1 Dog (50lbs maximum), with an additional Pet Fee of $45 per day OR $300/week. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing a dog, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee. Hidden Paradise is centrally located between some of Delaware’s most beautiful shorelines. On laid-back days, head to Bethany’s Beach where relaxing days at the beach effortlessly unfold. Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches are just up the road with exciting nightlife and family fun on Rehoboth’s famed boardwalk. Between Hidden Paradise and Rehoboth, there’s also miles of ocean coastline in Delaware Seashore State Park where visitors enjoy surfing and sunbathing in addition to the park’s biking trails, sports courts, and secluded picnic areas. Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. This house had everything (except an electric can opener) we needed…plus some. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, especially our little people, ages 7 and 8\. There is so much to do in the area besides just the beach. Having the boat ramp on the property was great. The house is definitely a 5-star! Our only complaint, which is not the owner’s fault, is that the community pool was not in the greatest condition. There was algae and pH levels were probably not tested often enough. ##### Barbara L. It had great views and we enjoyed the screened porch so much. The little beach, fishing dock and availability of kayaks were a definite added plus. It’s nice how close this is to Bethany, Dewey and Rehoboth. The home has many nice additions. Only downfall was the cleanliness, that definitely left something to be desired. Ride bikes through a peaceful nature preserve? Drop your kayak in the water steps from the front door? This is the place! We have stayed in Sandy Cove for 4 years, trying a different property each time. All are comfortable, well furnished and spacious, but this one takes the cake. In addition to four bedrooms including two masters, there is a kitchen stocked with the usual appliances, utensils and pots and pans, but also a knife sharpener, lemon reamer, zester and kettle. Plenty of outdoor space, we especially liked the screened porch looking out on the bay, and the front porch with Adirondack barstools with built in tables. Genius. Buying them for my porch! The place has bikes, tire inflator, kayaks, beach chairs, buggy for back of the bikes. It is an amazing spot. Two easily solved issues - the house needs a deep clean, especially the bathrooms - showers need a good scrub, and a large pitcher or two would have been great. ##### Sue Q. The house was stocked with all the necessary amenities (beach chairs, towels, lots of kitchen essentials etc). Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and the rooms were really peaceful (only gripe was ac didn’t work as well in two of the upstairs bedrooms but ceiling fans kept it manageable). The property itself is gorgeous- on a beautiful bay with a very nice pool and cute little pier/beach. It’s about a 15 min drive to the beach which wasn’t an issue for us. The property itself as well as the views were as wonderful as the pictures suggest. The management company was very helpful with preparing us for an easy and seamless check in. The amenities in the house and on the wider property were terrific. I would love to have given 5 stars, however, there were some small issues - nothing that can't be fixed, but it did dampen our enthusiasm. First, the house cleaning wasn't great - was OK, but we found one of the beds had some leftover sand. Second, the dishwasher was broken. Didn't turn on at all (yes we checked the breaker). Things break in a rental - we get it - but we called the management company on Tuesday, and they promised a quick response. Nothing - not a single call or attempt at repair, which meant hand washing dishes all week. Not the end of the world, but it will knock you down from 5 stars to 4. ##### Jason F. It was so nice to be able to bring along our little dog! Thank you to the owners who have lovingly thought of everything: wine glasses, board games, bikes, 2 coffee makers, a grill and even kayaks! Everyone was able to stretch out, find a place to work remotely, or just read or watch tv. The beach and good restaurants are minutes away by car.
