« Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm....

« Beautiful interior renovation, clean, and well stocked with kitchenware. Upstairs bathroom may be challenging for anyone taller than 6’ 2”, but the downstairs bathroom will be fine. Location is great for attending local activities. »

« The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back. »

« The property was perfect for our needs. Five large bedrooms with king beds. Big open kitchen with all that we might need and more. Large comfortable living room. Dining table big enough to accommodate all of us. Ample outdoor furniture in the back and on the big front porch. Adirondack style chairs. Everything was as described in the post. Owner was super friendly and responsive. If you want/need a large comfortable house close to town this is the place for you. Thank you! »

« We stayed at Coastal Cottage in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for a week with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, and it was absolutely wonderful. The waterfront view was stunning, and the house had all the amenities we needed, plus a great deck for enjoying sunsets. We even made use of the canoes! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we created some really great family memories. I’d highly recommend it. Owner is a good host and maintained open communication throughout. »
