« This was everything we wanted and more in a honeymoon. The cabin was cozy, clean, and romantic. We wanted somewhere secluded with limited cell service (the WiFi was excellent but we switched our phones off). We were able to enjoy ourselves and our time with limited distractions. We can’t wait to return! »

« The cabin was nicely appointed andtheremote and rural location was just what I was looking for. A bit further from town(s) than I realized but that was not a problem. Also not quite prepared for the unpaved roads but not a problem as I have often driven on dirt in other places. Hosts very helpful and hospitable. »

« This home has it all! Beautifully decorated, cozy fireplace, spacious private surroundings, the BEST claw foot bathtubs, mountain and star views magnificent! We had 12 people and the home’s size afforded us all plenty of privacy. Great stove in kitchen. Plenty of firewood stacked. Off grid living was cool! No TVs! « 5 Starr was a spectacular home. Brigitte sets you up for success from check-in to departure with detailed instructions. She was also extremely responsive. The home was breathtaking. The lake was beautiful. The house was equipped with everything you need. It's very comfortable and zen. We spent our time enjoying the magnificent views and reading. It's quiet, clean, and decorated beautifully. You feel like you're at home immediately. I highly recommend and will be back. »

« The long winding driveway through the forest opens to a park-like landscaped vista. Every flower garden, and they are everywhere you look, was in full bloom. Song Sparrow Cottage has a fairytale, idyllic setting. The cottage itself is nothing short of spectacular in its construction and attention to detail. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything. One could never tell that this is an "off grid" property. James and Michele were a pleasure to work with. »

« Very rustic which is fine and I'm usually up for. The water is atrocious and needs to be tested. My daughter and I were sick for two days after drinking the water. I have a terrible sense of smell, but noticed it when showering after the first night. Horrible. We left but could not get all the way home (6 hours drive) because of our gastrointestinal issues. We live separately and could not connect any other shared consumptions. Owner is very nice, but does not respond to emails or texts even...
