Hope, Charm or Walnut Creek. My sister and adult daughter love to get away there for a girls retreat. Eli is a wonderful host. It is very clean and comfortable and has a hot tub! The goats are a bonus. »

It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution. »

« The location is ideal, near many trails, restaurants, and microbreweries. The owners are very kind and provide a very clean and safe home to share with others. The water cooler in the dining room is a big plus, especially after nice long hikes on one of the nearby trails. My daughter and her family live in the area, and we had plenty of space to visit in the living room and share some meals in the dining room. Had to go to the second floor for ice and microwave was provided on the 3rd floor where the ice machine used to be by the elevator. On a good note the microwave was kept clean and didn’t seem to be used much due to location of it. »
