My wife and I stayed at Ryoutei Manyou for 3 nights in June 2026. This allowed visiting the nearby Noto peninsula one day (by private motorcar arranged by the inn) and the lovely city of Kanazawa another day. It was one of the best experiences at a Japanese ryokan we had. We chose one of the better rooms available, which had a private bathtub. The room itself was a duplex, with a Japanese-style dining area above and a spacious bedroom-bath area below. The beds were very comfortable. The design was perfect, allowing our in-room meals to be served while maintaining the privacy of our sleeping area. The hot onsen water flowed 24 hours a day and allowed us to bath at will many times. The bath was open to a garden and allowed us to enjoy the stars at night.
The meals were full-course kaiseki dinners and Japanese-style breakfasts of excellent quality. The whole inn and our room were spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely helpful.
Food was exceptionally good compared to most other ryokan. Staffs are super nice and hard working. We were packing up and needed to borrow sticky tape around midnight, staff was readily available and helpful. Overall great experience.
