Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. We took the meal package as it was well rated. It was more than we expected. The steak was surely the highlight - juicy and tender. Best I’ve had so far - local A5\. The corn soup was made with just farm bought corn that morning and local milk - the natural sweetness came through with no added sugar. Attention to fresh ingredients is amazing. The cabin was very nice and a good size. The food was excellent and the owner very accommodating. If you are looking for a place in town, where you can walk from your room to along the boardwalk and visit shops, this might not be for you. It's a short drive to the town. But, there is no need to go into town for dinner - the owner is a wonderful cook. Also, the location is private and quiet, with a great view of the lake from our room. The large bathtub also looks out over the lake.
