It's a 10-minute walk to the Annupuri Gondola, had a cute little bar on-site for great apres drinks and a food cart that was there each evening. In addition the dinners and breakfast served at Milky were amazing! Location: Just a five-minute walk to Niseko Annapuri ski lodge and lift chairs. 15 minutes walk in snow to an Onsen (Niseko Hot Spring Ikoino Yuyado Iroha). You will want to coordinate a shuttle from the Kutchan train station, or a taxi beforehand. We made the mistake of arriving in the evening and not pre-arranging an Uber - we were lucky to hitch a ride with a private shuttle for a guide (we paid a premium due to the last-minute plan). Check-in & staff: Staff were great, always available when needed, coordinated a shuttle back to Kutchan, we shipped our gear from New Chitose Room: The room was clean, beds were a little small (normal for Japan so no complaints). There were 2 beds and a loft. The beds were good for our taste. Not too noisy, but it is a bed and breakfast so you will get used to hearing people walking down the hall. Everyone was mindful and quiet as expected. Amenities: There was WiFi, but I did not use it as I had a pre-paid SIM (highly recommend if travelling in a foreign country!). The owner speaks pretty fluent English (better than staff of many hotels!) and breakfast is great (though they didn't tell me in advance that it requires additional payment, neither have asked me whether I even wanted this, which kind of disturbs me, though I would have opted for it anyway). The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. They are perfect for families. There's free WiFi in the common area but not in the rooms (I was actually able to catch low signal in my room with my laptop but not the phone). Niseko ski resorts are very close (note that I rented a car so I don't know about public transportation). The hotel is rustic in atmosphere but very well maintained and comfortable. The staff are incredible and went out of their way to make our stay outstanding. They were able to communicate very well with us and even assisted in helping us make arrangements. The location is a 5 minute walk to the lifts at Annupuri ski area. The hotel is able to arrange for lift tickets and rentals at a discounted rate as well. Also, the hotel offers breakfast and dinner which was outstanding through the trip. Good location, just 3 min walk from Annupuri. Houseowner is very nice - willing to provide free ride to / pickup from JR station up to 4pm everyday. The breakfast and dinner are of very good quality (and not expensive at all). This is our first time to try skiing and the houseowner proactively found a Cantonese coach and booked the ski gear for us! What a nice service! Really enjoy the stay here!
