Building needs repairs and is very outdated. Bed was terrible. Shower heads need cleaning. Balcony not safe. I asked for a refund as a goodwill gesture and owner would not consider. I would never recommend this property and surprised you have it on VRBO. Couldn’t get a refund so hard lesson learned. The building and room were old but clean enough. No staff available. It felt like an abandoned building. One step above sleeping in the back seat of your car. The place looks abandoned. Never saw anyone in charge of the place. zero security , zero privacy and zero amenities. You get what you pay for is absolutely true. For an extra 200 to 300 dollars pick any other place and be happy. ##### Anthony G. I was attacked and injured by two dogs because the check in instructions were poor. There is NO POOL. The floor in our room was slanted. TV did not work properly. Dump of a hotel. There is NO VIEW as promised. Parking is terrible as you have to pay everywhere. Original reservation was cancelled by VRBO and I'm waiting to see if I was charged for their mistake. The building should be condemned and in fact is slated to be replaced by a three story apartment building. "Lobby Entrance" is not obvious if you pull up to the address by GPS. No signage on the other unlocked doors indicating the direction of the Lobby Entrance or DO NOT ENTER, which resulted in my being attacked by two large dogs. ##### Mark E Y. When we returned on our way home we elected to stay once more In the king George and found that a grab bar had been installed. We really appreciated the manager wanting to accommodate the guests and their needs. We will return next spring if all goes well. ##### Ann S. The balcony provided a lovely stop to recover from a day of theatre and exploring the area. Suggestion is to replace the door locks (outdoor and room) due to difficulty in opening. ##### Ann S. Quiet and clean. Property needs renovation but apparently a new building is planned. Amenities in the room were fine and comfortable. Good bathroom and good bed. Large TV screen. No sign to let us know if it was our hotel. Very sketchy. Once in our room, which had a poor lock, it was actually clean and freshly painted, although the furniture was terribly outdated. However, bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. A mouse ran down the corridor. The room was dark and VERY MUSTY. It was a repulsive place. We left it immediately. We have a lot of photos to document the unacceptable state of the so-called hotel!!
