« We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. »

« A part sa situation centrale, cet hôtel ne mérite pas qu'on s'y arrête. Notre chambre était minuscule, table de chevet seulement d'un côté du lit (j'ai utilisé la poubelle retournée en guise de tablette pour pouvoir y mettre ma montre et mon livre), pas de climatisation. La salle de bains était bien rénovée, mais il y avait quand même deux robinets séparés pour l'eau chaude et froide, tellement chers aux British! Donc côté chaud: robinet brûlant et impossible de faire couler l'eau à température...

« Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced. »

« Met expectations of a 5* hotel. Unfortunately there was a power cut, this was not a fault of the hotel. The staff handled it brilliantly and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay despite the slight set back. »

« Right in the middle of town. Walkable to everywhere you need to go. Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed or wanted! Kettle in the room was great for some tea. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Would def stay here again if I come back to Darlington »
