Avons passé 2 jours à Nelson Il s agit d une maison divisée en 2 niveaux. La maison est située dans une petite colline avec une vue extraordinaire sur la mer Petite terrasse avec vue mer et ensoleillée. Propriétaires discrets et charmants. Maison très calme Un endroit remarquable que l on quitte à regret

The property was fantastic - spectacular views of the water and fun nautical theme throughout the property. Sally and Ralph were great hosts and provided a well stocked kitchen and all the comforts of home.

A fabulous apartment with the most wonderful views. Spacious and well equipped with everything you could need provided. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. The views are just awesome.

Best place ever! Will definitely come back! Absolutely gorgeous views and a perfect little house. Super clean, has everything you would need to cook for yourself & small family. Easy access to dining & not far from Abel Tasman Natl park. Worth every cent for a stay.. highly recommend!

Unbelievable view, fantastic apartment, awesome
Fantastic apartment, everything you could ask for. Unbelievable views through the huge picture window in the living room. Fantastic bedroom with even more views and the bathroom was very roomy and well set out. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing location and hosts but needing an upgrade
The Wheelhouse Inn has an amazing location and amazing views towards the sea. There are a lot of thoughtful touches and the apartment is well-equipped. The love and care of the owners can be seen in everything. Also had a few chats with Ralph who is absolutely charming and willing to help in anyway. The cons: It's as well maintained and clean as an older apartment can but still it smells old, it looks old, it feels old. Also the beds were very worn, soggy and wobbly. Also missing a dishwasher which meant that to be on the safe side you needed to wash everything before using it (previously guests wash in a hurry on a check out day). It was nice but not luxury as it's branded and for the price it would need a complete upgrade. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice and extremely well-run and well-maintained place with lovely hosts! Just a bit disappointed with the high expectations from the raving reviews and highish price.

Providing binoculars was a nice surprise. Loved the view of the water and watching the ships leaving in the morning. You can also see the planes coming and going. Great seating indoors and outside.

Great accommodation with the most amazing views of Nelson. We were welcomed by the host & given plenty of information about the area Only thing that could be updated in the accommodation was to have better curtains/blinds in the bedroom & living area We enjoyed our stay here & would definitely stay again.

very hard to find. never met the owners, the key was in the door and instructions to leave it there when we left. The view was magnificent but inside was warm (facing west to the sun) and no A/C. We had three people and I did not realize one bed was the sofabed in the living room. Stayed only one night so did not get to try the outside patio or the other amenities. More like your own cabin than a motel room so that part was nice.

View was absolutely fantastic. You open the door and just say 'Wow!'. Layout was a little weird with shower on the lower level and bedroom on third. We loved it, tho. Changed dining plans to cook in and enjoy the deck and view. It was lovely waking up to blue skies and water.

Wheelhouse Inn provides 5 different units. We had the Charthouse top floor which is spacious and modern with views to kill. The only thing we missed was a verandah, though a seating place in the garden with slightly obstructed views made up for it. Overall it was a fantastic place with friendly and helpful hosts and we loved our stay.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Super comfortable apartment, with great facilities for our 3day mid-NZ-trip. Wonderful views, just the right distance from town to enjoy tranquility, yet walkable to the restaurants/bars of Nelson (longer via coast, but more pit stops!) Can not wait to return when we have our next Kiwi Adventure.
