The property was close from 11am to 1pm Which we had no idea about. We arrived to a closed reception. However previously we had tried to arrange an early check in. After we rang the hotel to see if we could get in early there was no answer other than a message which said nothing about the closed midst period. We taxied over to find it closed. After walking g for 10mins or so we did get a cal from reception to say they were there and we could check in early. So that was good….

Firstly, the property is dated, so if you are looking for a modern apartment this is not the place for you. It is clean, spacious and is all you would want for a pleasant stay. The property is very reasonably priced given the beachfront location and proximity to town centre. I would stay here again.

Clean & Conveniently Located
The hotel is in a beautiful location, within walking distance of the stunning Art Deco centre of Napier. The room itself was smaller than anticipated, but it did have a balcony with beautiful views across the Bay which unfortunately had direct access to the adjoining room with no fence or barrier between. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The room was promoted as having a kitchenette, but that really only meant a microwave in addition to the usual toaster & kettle, and nothing to “cook” with. Although it overlooked a reasonably busy road, the room was quiet and the curtains did quite a good job of blocking the light.
