"We had everything we needed, beautiful setting and area around the tent & around the lodge. We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. The manager was very friendly and had some nice short exchanges with him."

Ein Kühlschrank oder eine Minibar ist nicht vorhanden. Die Außenplätze des Restaurants haben ebenfalls keinen Schatten. Die Möglichkeiten der Aktivitäten beschränken sich auf einen Sunrise Drive oder einen Sundowner. Der vorhandene Pool ist sehr stark gechlort. Ein mehrtägiger Aufenthalt empfiehlt sich nicht."

"Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected. All meals were eaten at one long table and the food was good and in home cooked style. The trips out, the morning walk and afternoon drive were excellent. "I can not recommend to stay in Moon Mountain Lodge. At least not at this time of the year. Preparations for the new season where still ongoing and only a few of the tented rooms were ready and the smell of tar paint was all over the place. Despite they had only 5 guests including us we were given the most far away tented room (ca. 200 meters gravel way from the main building). The breakfast was a catastrophy. The butter was rancid, the milk was sour and the cheese was moldy. The managememt were not really interested in our complains and told us all food were stored in the fridge. So this was the worst accomodation of all we had since years in Namibia and South Africa!"

"Hugely disappointing stay here. Beautiful communal areas but rooms were very dark, small and we could hear everything from the room next door. Attention to detail was sadly lacking. A card in the room addressed to someone else, no bedside table on one side, lack of comfortable seating. The vacated tables at breakfast not cleared and were attracting hordes of squirrels. We have stayed in far better lodges at half the price. "
