Built in 1935 this quaint cottage has survived more than eighty years along the coast of the Outer Banks. Families came to the Outer Banks in the 1900s in the summer to escape the heat of the inland farms and to enjoy the sea and ocean air for a healthier living. Many of these historical homes still have family ties to the original owners. Families spent the day at the beach and relaxed on their covered decks in the evening sharing stories with family, friends, and neighbors. These homes added modern conveniences as the years went by but the laid-back lifestyle is still possible to enjoy. Island Dancer is your answer to the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate from the fast-paced life we live in. Bring your favorite books and games and hang out on the covered decks. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Perfect for couples or small family. Plenty of deck space that wraps around the cottage. Direct access to the beach from the back deck, just down a path and over a small dune.
