Indian restaurant food is tasteless due to overspicing, and premises are run-down and dingy. Staff is scruffy and check-in is slow. Bar is a dark squalid place where some local men consume alcohol while apparently awaiting female professionals hired for fun. Corridors have room service meals at the doors of rooms with food leftovers there for hours, attracting flies. Breakfast is basic and mediocre, and fruits are not fresh. Corridors are hot and run-down. This hotel has evidently seen better days.
This place is a wonder to behold , from the local interaction, vibrant smells of authentic Arabia , this was a deal and a half , food was out of this world and beverages were flowing freely and the entertainment astonishing, this hotel is a must for every traveler , you must experience this for yourselves at least once in your lifetime.
A good hotel with big and nice rooms but they need to work a little more on the cleanliness. The breakfast was very disappointing with a very limited choices.

Good hotel with a good standard.
The rooms are really quite and well equipped.
It is not the perfect location to start sightseeing but with car many sights are reachable within 5-10 minutes (fish market, beach, seeb souq and so on).
Breakfast could be better. Some dishes are could, empty.
The room was clean, specious, quite, and very comfortable. However I was disappointed I didn’t get a pool view but instead a view of the indoor hallway which has the pool view. Smooth check-out, but while I was waiting in lobby I have witnessed how hotel staff deal with complains. Totally unprofessional, loud, noisey the staff reacted emotionaly. Also the hotel has Arabic theme night club. It’s uncomfortable to be there as a single female. One of the hotel staff sat across from me which made me comfortable and change my place eventhough all lobby has free seats. There was cold Arabic coffee and dirty cups at recption area.
A large, sprawling, modern hotel but a bit tired looking and one gets the feeling that it is limping along with too few guests. (e.g. Stained sofas in hallways, shower cubicle glass with lots of stains). Was offered an a-la-carte breakfast (too little guests in the Hotel to warrant buffet). Free hifi did not work properly and was frustrating - we had to contact reception twice (wanted to complete airline check in ). Very quiet at night. Restaurant and licensed (alcohol) bar and pool. 5 minutes by car from the public beach, promonade and park. No other restaurants nearby. Ok for one night if you are passing through.
I realy enjoyed my stay the room was Quite and i have been upgraded to Exuctive Doubble Room

Rough around the edges but with some bright spots
Hotel has gone through recent refurbishment and is still getting the kinks worked out. They try hard but still don't quite have service up to standard. For example, we arrived at 3am and the clerk took a good 20 minutes to check three of us in because he kept answering the phone. Meanwhile another perfectly capable gentleman with the same role was just wandering around the lobby, and asked us how we were doing. That's it, no help, no division of responsibility. So training is an issue. However the rooms were well appointed and cleaned properly. From inside the room, it was equivalent to a 4 star western hotel like a good Sheraton I'd say. The hotel is hard to find, especially at night! Do your diligence on the way to get there, because it is not on an obvious main road, it's essentially in a neighborhood. Overall for a weekend with buddies in Oman, it was an ok solution and except for some kinks it was good, with some brighter moments with very helpful staff. But with family I wouldn't take them here.
The hotel was very pleasant. It was run by friendly Indian personel. The rooms were fantastic and luxurious with good airco and the Indian food we ordered was delicious.
We alle enjoyed the large swimmingpool and garden.
It was a 10 minute walk to the beach. (no shadow) Although it was very hot beginning august we could walk to the beach early in the morning. The beach is public and apparently staying on the beach in bikini / bathing suit is not done (at least for women).Temperature of the seawater was nice cool, good for swimming.

Fantastic beach nearby
This was a bit strange experience. Hotel itself is new and quite comfortable. But it is just ordinary hotel with outside pool. From the marketing material you get an impression that it is a beach hotel but actually it is around half a kilometer from the beach and area there in between is construction area with dirty bond and spoil. Even the road to hotel is not finished. The beach in that area is fantastic, several kilometers, clean and very few tourists. Own car is a must, distance to down town is quite long, to old town and Mutrah more than 30 km's
