« This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna. »

« What a beautiful cottage! Plenty of comfortable sleeping accomodations, very well equipped kitchen, and confy cozy gatherings areas. Perfect location to enjoy and share among collegues and friends. Despite the rain, we were able to relax, chat, play games and enjoy lots of laughter. Amazing!! »

« We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The property was clean and everything we needed was there even on cooler nights. We had to clean the side of the water a little since a lot of seeweed was there but overall it was great. We enjoyed some kayak on a super calm lake. Little town near by where we went to get evetables that we needed. All our family really enjoyed our stay and definitly will recommend this cute paradise. »

« Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. »

« Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. « GREAT STAY. Dan and Lisa thought of everything. Stayed for a week during a heat wave at end of June. Cottage stayed nice and cool, river was very refreshing. Family room and bedroom downstairs perfect for teens to have their own space. Highly recommended. »

« Terry's place is heavenly! Ideally located, perfectly equiped and maintained, and also very large and very, very comfortable. Everything necessary to life is provided and available: towels, sheets, salt and pepper, oil, wood for the fireplaces (two of them in the garden!), canoes... everything!
